Post Adoption Service Reviews
Post adoption caseworkers approve the initial service plan (excluding residential and day treatment services). After six months of post-adoption services, reviews of case records are conducted by a liaison from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (TDFPS) adoption unit. After reviewing Spaulding for Children’s compliance with TDFPS policy, the liaison decides whether or not post-adoption services can continue for the next six months.
