The Texas CAN! Program
Spaulding for Children is dedicated to building and sustaining strong, nurturing families for children who have endured abuse, neglect or abandonment.

Across Texas, almost 4,000 children are legally freed and waiting for adoption. Recognizing that the need to find permanent families for children in foster care is greater than any one organization can handle, Spaulding for Children began the Texas CAN! (Collaborative Adoption Network) Program. This program unites public and private child welfare agencies under one goal – increasing the number of adoptions of children who are currently in foster care and available for adoption.
