for Children is a unique agency. We are dedicated to building and
sustaining strong, nurturing families for children who have endured
abuse, neglect or abandonment. We do this by placing abused and
neglected children with permanent adoptive families and providing
ongoing support after placement. We place children with physical,
mental or emotional disabilities, older children, minority children
and sibling groups. And, we charge no fees to our families.

From the initial application to after-placement
support, Spaulding for Children works very closely with the adoptive
family to determine the needs of the child and the family's ability
to meet those needs. We share videos, pictures and histories of the
child and provide adoption preparation classes
as well as opportunities to network with other adoptive families and
support groups.

the initial application to after-placement
support, Spaulding for Children’s South Texas adoption
coordinators work closely with the adoptive family to determine
the needs of the child and the family's ability to meet those needs.
We share videos, pictures and histories of the child and provide
adoption preparation classes. We also
provide opportunities to network with other adoptive families and
will soon provide real-time, interactive support groups through
our Web site.
While the main South Texas office is located in Corpus Christi,
Spaulding for Children serves families in the following counties:
